URL not Found when submitting sites using SSL

Solution

Sometimes you might encounter a problem when submitting

your email with a site that uses https:// instead of http://

The URL checker will report the site is "not found" however it clearly is.

In this case remove the s from https:// and submit it without SSL

your site will redirect to the https:// version when it is viewed anyway

and this will "work around" the problem.
